Benitachell is located in the southeast of the region of Marina Alta, between Javea and Moraira, north of the province of Alicante, in the Autonomous Community of Valencia. Its municipal term, of 12'55 km2, stands out for a coastline of abrupt cliffs among which are the coves "Tiestos", "Almoraig" and "Llebeig". The cove of Moraig is a beach of gravel and with crystal clear waters. On the coast of El Poble Nou in Benitatxell, the Moraig is in a steep coastal area. At the foot of the impressive Morro Falquà cliff and the fault of the Moraig, the beach recreates a paradisiacal landscape.
